With millions of people signed up as organ donors at the end of their life, thousands are still dying while waiting for a transplant. So, why aren’t more people taking part in a different system that could save these lives and countless others?

We take a look at some simple answers like money. And we look and some others that are much more complex, like who should decide how much risk a donor is willing to take to save another person? The donor themselves or a doctor?
