rAfua Hirsch is a journalist, best selling author and a former barrister. She has written for publications ranging from the Sunday Times to Vogue, takes part in current affairs programmes including BBC1 Question Time and CNN, and is the author of award winning books including Equal To Everything and Brit(ish): On Race, Identity and Belonging, which won the Royal Society of Literature Jerwood Prize. Afua is also currently the Wallis Annenberg Chair of Journalism at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
