Justin Fashanu, Britain’s First Openly Gay Footballer The Black Plaque Podcast is an original podcast series, celebrating stories of black historical figures in London, as part of the Black Plaque Project. In this episode, Dr Jak speaks to Kevin Morosky a creative and founder of wearepocc. Kevin’s chosen historical figure is footballer Justin Fashanu, the 1st black million-pound footballer, who also became the first professional footballer to come out as gay. Justin is a trailblazer and pioneer, not just in football, but outside of the sport.
