Digital asset custody is in many ways similar to the custody of traditional financial assets. Investors need to know their digital assets are safe, yet the nature of these assets means that secure custody potentially poses more challenges. As the market continues to mature and more institutions get in the game, these holders will naturally expect custodians to manage their assets just as they expect banks to manage their traditional financial assets.
