Getting Creative

  1. Nick - Have your students solve a Digital Escape the Room via Zoom. Use one from breakoutedu or design your own. We have lots of resources on this
  2. Guise - Gallery Walk template
  3. Nick - Household scavenger hunts
  4. Guise - household science lab. Assign a student a household lab experiment that they show the class and explain the science. Discussions afterwards, digital CER, lots of places to take this
  5. Nick - Use the Zoom whiteboard to play pictionary
  6. Guise - Play Kahoot, Gimkit or other educational review games over Zoom. How to host Kahoot remotely
  7. Nick - Reenact a moment in history with a virtual background of that place or event. Possible in meet too
  8. Guise - Steal a Google Slides game template and host a virtual game show. Some great ones at slidesmania.com
  9. Nick - Flippity.net BINGO tool - you create what goes in each square, you read the clues, students fill out a digital game card. You can send out the digital cards via link or QR code. When it’s over, have them share their screen and review their answers to see who wins!
  10. Guise - Screencasting with PowerPoint as the background
