Episode notes
Elliot Carver: "Mr. Jones, are we ready to release our new PODCAST?"
Mr Jones: "Yes, sir. As requested, it's full of bugs, which means people will be forced to LISTEN for years."
Elliot Carver: "Outstanding."
It's James Bond week on Living La Vita Loca podcast! As most gamers eagerly await the first home console 007 video game in 14 years, we're taking the opportunity to cycle through Bond's back catalogue...
First (light) up, Tomorrow Never Dies (1999, PS1). Released two years after the movie hit the cinema, Fazz is left wondering why he spent so much time with this edition of Bond as a youngster and when will 'tomorrow' just freaking die already?!?
Our next mission? A stand alone video game continuation of Pierce Brosnan's 007, Rich is giving it 'Everything or Nothing' (2004,)... it probably just depends on how much we can be arsed really...
Finally, we flip open a bit of kit that feels like one of Q branch's inventions to play 'James Bond 007: Blood Stone' (2010, Nintendo DS) How does the handheld workhorse hold up under the weight another hackneyed Bond story?
"Do you expect us to talk?" We most certainly will. Enjoy the pod.
