Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to another episode of The Open Mic Podcast! With your host Tom Hirst, brought to you by Richland Source and Newsroom After Hours!
This episode we are trying a new segment! A Cypher Segment. We tested out our own version of one, with Kid Kulture while my co-host for this segment, DJ Dro Jack, spins some beats by Devy Kay! I'm pretty pumped with how it turned out, so It's going to be a recurring segment from now on!
All three of these dudes are very talented and I think it shows through the effortless chemestry that occured in the studio. We talk about artistry, life, pizza and Kid Kulture's self produced album that he has in the works.
It was a blast, so let me know what you think and if you' be interested on being on Volume two! Also any producers out there that would be interested in providing the beats for volume two to get some extra promotion for their beats.
Thank you to Kid Kulture and Dj Dro Jack for being down to through an idea at the wall with me and see what sticks. As well to Devy Kay for cookin up some tasty beats for Kid Kulture to "sight unseen" rap to live.
It's some freestyle, some pre-written, some local beats and some live Dj'ing. All mixed with some good conversation.
