25/26 - EFL Championship Betting Preview

The EFL is back - 2025/26 season is here and the Championship returns from August 8. Here at Sporting Life we cannot wait. We've previewed League Two and League One and now it's the turn of the second tier. Ipswich Town, Southampton and Leicester City return from the Premier League, while Birmingham City, Wrexham and Charlton arrive from League One with momentum after impressive campaigns. Sheffield United suffered play-off heartache and swapped Chris Wilder for Ruben Selles while Frank Lampard's Coventry also saw their season end in disappointment as they finished in the top six. Norwich have a new manager in Liam Manning, Millwall look a force under Alex Neil. While at the bottom, it's expected to be a long and tough season for Sheffield Wednesday with their off field problems and Danny Rohl's departure. Hull also look in trouble while Preston, Derby, Stoke and Oxford will be hoping to avoid a repeat of their 24/25 relegation battle.
